Participants of Well & Wonder acknowledge and agree to the following:

-  Children do well when they can. Each child has an individual gift, purpose, and their own autonomous learning goals. We strive to guide & lift and trust in their journey.

- We support parents' decisions on behalf of their children. We honor their intuition and we do not judge. 

​

- We believe implicitly in medical freedom and protect a parents' right to make choices for their child's unique wellness, care, and health needs.

​

- We recognize that learning is a lifelong and unique journey. Homeschooling looks different for every family and it ebbs and flows. We approach conversations with cheerleading, compliments, curiosity, and compassion. 

​

- We do not force participation. Children who do not feel comfortable participating can spend time in the library corner if they aren't comfortable watching with their team. (They will always be in the same area as their group, always within eyesight of an adult)

​

- We are a personal-use screen-free learning space. No child will ever be prevented from calling their parent should they feel the need, but otherwise all personal screens stay out of sight during Well & Wonder hours.

- We are a candy & dessert free learning space. Holidays, birthdays, and lunches need to be candy-free.

​

- We support medical freedom, but due to extensive science-based and evidence-based learning principles, teachers must always be un-masked (including face shields). Young learners need unmasked facial cues to thrive in social and community environments.​

​

- We strive for wholesome conversation and gently steer conversations into friendly territory if we drift into non-productive spaces.

​

- We respect all religious beliefs & encourage families to share their culture, traditions, and religion with us. 

​

- Disagreements, concerns, acknowledgements will flow through founder, Kori Brown via email. Families will focus on compassion and understanding, community and patience. (We don't anticipate many due to our shared values above!)
